Gadovist 1.0 is used at the same time as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to aid in the detection of known or suspected abnormalities in the body: brain, spinal cord, blood vessels, head and neck region, chest, breast, abdomen, pelvis, kidneys, bones, muscles and heart. Gadovist 1.0 is itself a magnetic liquid that alters the way in which the MRI machine detects certain tissues within the body, often making the pictures clearer and often showing things that may not have been visible using MRI alone.

Primovist is indicated for the detection of focal liver lesions and provides information on the character of lesions in T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Primovist is a ready-to-use aqueous solution to be administered undiluted as an intravenous bolus injection.

Ultravist is an injectable contrast medium (a dye) which contains iodine. It is used to clearly show on X-rays the area of your body that your doctor wants to investigate, for example, your kidney, bladder, heart, vessels or spinal cord. It can also be used with sensitive computer-assisted X-ray machines (CT scanners) to investigate other parts of your body.
